What This Website Is
Bangla Calendar is a free online Panjika. It provides Bengali dates, Tithi, Nakshatra, Paksha, sunrise and sunset times, the Islamic Hijri calendar, seasons, festivals, public holidays, and auspicious days for occasions like weddings, house warmings, and naming ceremonies. There's also a blog, a calendar download section, a greeting card maker, and an embed option for other website owners. You don't need to pay for any of it.
Calendar Accuracy
We put real effort into making sure the dates and timings here are correct, and the calculations are based on established astronomical methods.
That said, this site is meant for general reference. If you're setting a date for a wedding or a religious ceremony — anywhere that exact timing genuinely matters — we'd suggest confirming with a qualified Panjika expert too. We can't take responsibility for decisions made based only on what's shown here.
Downloading
You're welcome to download our calendars — PDFs and images — for personal use. Share them with family, print them out, keep them offline, no problem. Just don't sell them, put your own name on them, or use them commercially without speaking to us first.
Greeting Card Maker
Our greeting card feature is there for personal, lighthearted use. Please don't use it to create or share anything offensive, hateful, or illegal. That includes content that targets or demeans any individual, community, religion, or group. Cards created through our tool should be something you'd be comfortable sharing openly — if you wouldn't, it probably shouldn't be made here.
Embedding Our Calendar
You're welcome to embed our calendar on your own website using our embed code, and there's no charge for that. Just don't alter the code to strip out our branding, and don't place it on a site that promotes anything illegal, harmful, or that falls outside Google's content policies. If we see it being misused, we may need to pull that access.
Acceptable Use
Please use the site the way it's supposed to be used. Don't flood our Contact form with automated messages, don't try to take the site down or overload it, and don't go poking around parts of the system you're not meant to access. We're a small team keeping this running for free and we'd appreciate you treating it that way.
Our Content
Everything written on this site — blog posts, articles, all of it — belongs to us. Quoting a line or two with a link back is fine. Copying full pieces and posting them elsewhere as your own isn't.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to run ads, which is how we keep the site free. We try to keep things appropriate, but we don't have control over what individual ads say or where they point, so we can't be held responsible for what third-party advertisers put out.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms occasionally and the date at the top of the page will reflect that. If you carry on using the site after a revision, we'll take that as your acceptance of the updated terms.
